What to expect after your baby's circumcision — and how Rabbi Joseph guides you through every step.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first 24-48 hours:

Some redness and swelling around the area is normal

A small amount of bleeding at the first diaper change is normal

Your baby may be fussier than usual — this settles within a few hours

Keep the area clean and dry at each diaper change
Days 3-7:

Swelling begins to reduce

Yellow crust may form around the area — this is part of normal healing

Baby returns to normal feeding and sleeping patterns
Days 7-15:

Full healing typically completes by day 10-15

Area returns to normal appearance
WHEN TO CONTACT RABBI JOSEPH
Contact immediately if you notice:

Bleeding that doesn't stop after gentle pressure

Fever above 100.4°F (38°C)
-
No urination within 8 hours after the procedure

Increasing redness or swelling after day 3
